The Association is established for the purpose of facilitating the religious practice of sacraments:
- Promoting spiritual growth, healing, and holistic well-being through plant-based therapies and practices rooted in religious belief.
- Serving as a community center for the exploration and understanding of plant-based therapies, including but not limited to psilocybin.
- Educating the members about the benefits, risks, and responsible use of plant-based therapies.
- Advocating for the legal and safe use of plant-based therapies.
- Providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore and benefit from plant-based therapies.
Article III: Principal Office
The principal office of the Association shall be located at 925 E. 17th Ave., Denver, CO 80218
Article IV: Membership
- Eligibility: Membership in the Association shall be open to all individuals who support the purpose and objectives of the Association.
- Types of Membership: The Association shall have regular and provisional memberships.
- Rights and Responsibilities: Members shall have rights and responsibilities as outlined in the Membership Agreement and Bylaws of the Association.
Article V: Governance
- The Association shall be governed by a Board of Directors, which shall have the authority to make decisions on behalf of the Association.
- The Board of Directors shall consist of a minimum of three members which will include the President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
- The roles, responsibilities, and terms of the Board of Directors shall be as outlined in the Bylaws of the Association.
Article VI: Meetings
- The Association shall hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) at which the Board of Directors shall present a report on the activities and finances of the Association.
- Special meetings may be called by the President or upon the request of 25% of the members.
- Notice of meetings shall be provided to members at least 30 days in advance.
Article VII: Finances
- The financial year of the Association shall be from January through December of the calendar year.
- The Association shall maintain proper accounting records and shall present a financial statement at the AGM.
- The funds of the Association shall be used solely to achieve the objectives and purposes of the Association.
Article VIII: Amendments
These Articles of Association may be amended by a unanimous vote of the members present at any general meeting, provided that notice of the proposed amendment has been given at least 30 days in advance.
Article IX: Dissolution
In the event of the dissolution of the Association, any assets remaining after the payment of debts shall be distributed other tax-exempt organizations, as required by the IRS to maintain the tax-exempt status upon dissolution.
